PORT JACKSON​

Encourage and recruit players:

​

1. Who are over 40 years of age

2. Who currently play with Sydney Masters or Classics or any other seniors teams in the Greater Sydney area

3. Who we can coax out of their premature “retirement”, now that there is a vibrant veterans cricket to be a part of

 

Arrange cricket games, primarily on turf pitches, on a home and away basis for as many players as is practical throughout the year, with opposition teams from:

​

1. Sydney metro

2. Across NSW

3. Interstate

4. Internationally
    

Provide opportunities for players who are interested to:

​

1. Play cricket with/against fellow O40s, O50s, O60s and O70s, at a standard that will be competitive, but not always so

2. Potentially be selected and represent Sydney as a member of Port Jackson Veterans Cricket Club  teams (at all standards) in the Veterans Cricket NSW State Championships

3. Potentially be selected and represent NSW in the O50s, O60s and O70s Australian National Championships

4. Potentially be selected and represent Australia  
    

Work collaboratively with Veterans Cricket NSW to promote the game and our players.
